Glenside, Pa (April 1, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights started their spring season this afternoon with a 6-3 win over FDU-Florham. The Knights won two of the three doubles matches and then won the third through sixth singles match to get the win.

In doubles play, the team of Jasmine Peake and Viola Sawter took second doubles, 8-3. Latoya Fluker and Alexis Broome won at third doubles, 8-3. In singles play, Sawyer won at third singles, 6-3, 1-6, 10-7. Emily Delp then won at fourth singles, 6-1, 6-2 and Broome won at fifth singles 6-0, 6-1. Danielle Riggins won at sixth singles 6-0, 6-0.

Arcadia will return to action on Thursday as they travel to face Rutgers-Camden at 4pm.
