Owings Mills, MD (April 24, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights (6-7, 2-3 MFRE) kept their playoff hopes alive with a 5-4 win over the Stevenson University Mustangs (4-9, 2-3). The Knights control their own destiny as a win at Misericordia on Saturday will clinch a postseason berth. Pedro Leal won the deciding match at second singles, winning 6-3, 2-6, 6-0.

Stevenson took two of the three doubles matches to start as Pedro Leal and Marc Ruggia won at second doubles, 8-3 to earn the point. In singles play, Vince Vuolo won at first singles, 6-2, 6-2. Marc Ruggia came up with a win at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-2 and Jeremy Garcia won at sixth singles 7-6 (7-1), 6-4.

Arcadia will wrap-up the regular season on Saturday at Misericordia with a postseason berth at stake.
