GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's soccer team recorded a 5-0 non-conference victory over visiting Penn State-Abington Tuesday night at Easton Field to record its sixth consecutive victory ad improved to 6-1-0 on the season. The Nittany Lions fell to 5-3-0 with the loss.
 
Sophomore forward/midfielder Karis Poore scored the first two goals of the game for the Knights, breaking away off a lead pass from freshman midfielder Jess Kelly just 2:35 into the contest and then taking a shot from the right side of the box and placing it into the left side of the net just under 10 minutes later. Poore now has three goals for the season.
 
Senior forward/midfielder Kim Canfield capped the first half scoring in the 31st-minute with a shot that found the upper-right 90 off a failed clearing attempt by the Penn State-Abington defense. It was her second goal of the year, and came just minutes after having what appeared to be a break-away goal waived off for being offside.
 
Junior forward/midfielder Jackie Glanfield netted her fourth goal of the season 3:53 into the second half, and sophomore forward/midfielder Lennon Kramer added her team-leading sixth goal of the season with exactly 24 minutes left on the clock to cap the scoring. Kramer also had a pair of assists in the game, setting up Poore's second goal of the game and Glanfield's second half marker.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Natalie Toner needed to make just one save as she recorded her first collegiate victory and shutout for the Knights, moving her record to 1-0-0 for the year.
 
Fellow freshman keeper Margaret Sheridan had 11 saves while taking the loss for the Nittany Lions, dropping her record to 5-3-0 this season.
 
Arcadia will look to extend its winning streak to seven games when it host a Wilkes University Saturday at 4 p.m. at Easton Field.
