OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team closed the game with a four-goal run but it was not enough as host Stevenson University held on for a heart-pounding 14-13 win Saturday in a Commonwealth Conference contest. The Mustangs improved to 7-6 overall and 3-1 in conference play with the win, while the Knights fell to 9-4 overall and 2-3 in league play with the loss.
The game was tied at six at the halfway point and was knotted at eight following back-to-back goals from juniors

Sophomore Brady Heher scored the first of those two goals while classmate Tori Bruno capped it with the eventual game-winner.
Faranetta scored three times in Arcadia's four goal run that closed out the game, bringing the Knights within one with 3:09 remaining in the contest. Junior Maggie Lawder was then put back in goal and the move paid off as she stopped sophomore
Erin Misner with 42 seconds to go. Sophomore Rachel Akshar picked up the ground ball off the save and Stevenson was able to clear the ball before running out the clock as it held on for the win.
Senior
Jaclyn Feffer got the draw control following Faranetta's final tally, which led to a scoring chance for Bellesheim, but her shot with just under two minutes to go was off the mark before Misner's bid was saved in the final minute.

Sophomore Olivia Monteiro had one goal and a game-high three assists.
