Women’s Lacrosse Seeded Fourth in ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Tournament, Hosts Drew Wednesday

DANBURY, Conn. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team will play in its first-ever Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Mid-Atlantic Championship Tournament, it was announced by the ECAC Monday. The fourth-seeded Knights will host fifth-seeded Drew University Wednesday at 1 p.m. 

LIVE COVERAGE: Arcadia will provide LIVE STATS and LIVE VIDEO coverage of the game.
 
TICKETS: Ticket prices for Wednesday will be $4 for General Admission, $3 for seniors, $2 for visiting students with valid institution ID, and children under eight are admitted free. Arcadia University students, faculty and staff will admitted free of charge by showing their University ID, courtesy of the Athletic Department.
 
ABOUT ARCADIA: The Knights are 12-7 on the season after advancing to the semifinals of the Commonwealth Conference Championship Tournament, defeating Albright College in the first round before falling to top-seeded and eventual champion Messiah College in the semis. Arcadia features five All-Commonwealth Conference performers, including 2015 Commonwealth Conference Rookie of the Year Nicole Hutson. Sophomore Erin Misner earned First-Team honors, senior Dana Roessler garnered Second-Team honors, while Hutson and juniors Jordyn Dunacusky and Dawn Faranetta received Honorable Mention.
 
ABOUT DREW: The Rangers enter the ECAC tournament with an overall record of 9-6 after falling to Goucher College 12-10 in their final game of the regular season, which decided the fourth and final seed in the Landmark Conference Championship Tournament. Senior Nikki Kleiman was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Year for the second time in three years, and is one of five Rangers named to the All-Conference Team. She and classmate Krysta Cento were named First-Team All-Conference selections, while sophomores Morgan Mason and Gianna Minogue, and freshman Juliana Strazulo earned Second-Team honors.
 
NEXT UP: The winner of Wednesday's first round game will face the winner of the quarterfinal between top-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology and eighth-seeded Neumann University in Saturday's semifinals.
