ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University field hockey team scored all four first half goals on its way to a 7-3 MAC Commonwealth victory at rival Lebanon Valley College Wednesday night. The Knights improved to 5-12 overall, and more importantly 3-2 in conference play as Arcadia now needs just one win in its final two games to clinch a MAC Commonwealth playoff berth.
PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Knights control their own destiny with the ability to get back into the postseason with a win over either Albright (October 22) over Widener (October 27). Arcadia is currently tied with Albright for third in the conference standings, and could still get in with the right combination of wins and losses by LVC, Widener and Stevenson.

Gabby Sedares' three goals just over three minutes later to give Arcadia a 2-0 lead. Fellow sophomore Nicole Hasset buried a penalty stroke in the 27th-minute, and Sedares capped the first half scoring with what proved to be the difference-maker in the 32nd-minute.
Hannah Simon got the Dutchmen (9-6, 2-3 MACC) on the board 1:27 into the second half, but goals from Tobey, senior
Allie Hines and Sedares quickly followed to put Arcadia in front 7-1 in the 44th-minute. Maddie Fox and Casey Dombroski scored for LVC to close the scoring in the match for the 7-3 final.
