READING, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swimming team recorded improved to 3-1 in dual meets with a 146-116 Middle Atlantic Conference dual meet win at Albright College Saturday. The Lions record dropped to 2-2 with the loss.

BACKSTROKE: Senior
Eric Lam was the victor in the 100 and 200 backstroke after touching the wall with respective times of 56.64 and 2:03.10. Melissen was the runner-up in the 200 with a time of 2:05.43 and placed third in the 100 in 58.33. Freshmen
T.J. Dalton (58.88) and
Dylan Gardner (1:00.72) finished third and fourth in the 100.
BREASTSTROKE: Nicolescu was the runner-up in the 100 and 200 with respective times of 1:01.91 and 2:18.02. Preedy placed third in the 100 with a time of 1:04.11, while Dalton was fourth in the 200 in 2:19.63.
BUTTERFLY: Morano led the way in the 200 with a first-place time of 2:04.33, while Mellisen led a one-two-three finish for the Knights in the 100 later in the day with a winning time of 54.73. Schellinger placed second in the 100 in 54.81, while Highet was third in 55.12.
DISTANCE: Fisher won the 1,000 in the first individual event of the day with a time of 10:18.93 before winning the 500 in 4:58.42. Morano was fourth in the 500 with a time of 5:11.04, while freshman
Reed French placed fifth in in the 1,000 in 11:44.51.
SPRINTS: Fisher also occupied the top spot in the 200 with a time of 1:49.30, while Cawley was the next-highest finisher in fourth (1:55:19). Morano won the 100 in 49.57, while Preedy placed third in 50.98 and Bondurant placed fifth in 51.98. Highet was Arcadia's top finisher in the 50 with a second-place time of 22.45, followed by Cawley (22.77) and Schellinger (23.15) in third and fourth.
INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY: Arcadia had two of the top-three finishers in the 200 IM, with Lam placing second in 2:03.44 and Dalton taking third in 2:08.83. Freshman
Austin Lauer placed fifth in 2:13.09.
UP NEXT: The Knights will return to action November 12 when they travel to Wilkes University for a 1 p.m. MAC dual meet.
