GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team hosted Stevens Tech Wednesday evening in non-conference action, falling 17-5 to the Ducks. The loss drops Arcadia to 4-7 on the season, while Stevens Tech moves to 7-5.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: After Stevens Tech scored the game's first two goals, senior Dawn Faranetta pocketed an unassisted goal with 24:39 left in the first half; the Ducks took a 14-1 lead to the break. The Scarlet and Grey scored four times in the second half, while holding the visitors to three goals.
 
ARCADIA LEADERS: Faranetta, classmate Adeline Bellesheim, junior Samantha Diaz and sophomores Marie Brockman and Nicole Hutson each scored for Arcadia, Brockman and senior Jessica Santoli each handed out an assist.
 
STEVENS TECH LEADERS: Kathleen Kalbian led the Ducks with five points on three goals and two assists, Erika Wilcox also put in a three goal effort.
 
IN GOAL: Junior Brittany Hodson suffered the loss making three saves and allowing nine goals. Stephanie Schnelzer picked up the win for the Ducks allowing one goal.
