GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team capped off the regular season with a 12-6 MAC Commonwealth victory over visiting Hood College Saturday at Jean Lenox West Field. Seniors

Liz Stierle were honored in a Senior Day ceremony prior to the contest.
FOR THE RECORD: The Knights evened their overall record at 8-8 for the season, making them eligible for the ECAC tournament, while improving to 2-6 in MAC Commonwealth play. The Blazers fell to 4-12 overall and 0-8 in league play with the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Christina Murphy scored the first goal of the game to give Hood a 1-0 lead just over five minutes into the contest, and the scored remained that way until Misner got the Knights on the board 10 minutes later to tie the game at 1-1. Misner found the back of the net again with 10 minutes to go in the frame, and Kara Phoubandith answered a minute later for the Blazers to knot the score at 2-2. Allegra Benites' tally that opened the second half scoring, giving Arcadia an 8-3 lead it wouldn't relinquish.
IN GOAL: Stierle finished the game with 14 saves, including her 100th save of the season, as she improved her record to 8-5 this season. Rylie Benoit-Nobis had 10 saves in goal for the Blazers.
ARCADIA LEADERS: Misner finished the game with three goals and four assists for seven points, while Benites tallied three goals with three assists for six points. Junior
Nicole Hutson also had theee goals.
HOOD LEADERS: Murphy and Phoubandith had two goals each for the Blazers. Shay Braithwaite and Jade Locklear also found the back of the net.
