GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its season, falling to regionally-ranked Ursinus 9-0. The match was played indoors at Green Valley Country Club.

FOR THE RECORD:

• The Scarlet and Grey now sit at 2-1 on the year, including the fall season.
• The Bears are 1-0.

 
DOUBLES PLAY:

• The first doubles pairing of junior Keith Rader and Jaime Zeng Zhu forced a tiebreak with Max Oberholtzer and Connor DeFaber-Schumacher, before falling 8-7 (7-2)
• In the second flight, sophomores Nick Simeone and Drake Hanak won four games.

 
SINGLES PLAY:

• Hanak won his first set against Peter Shields at No. 3 singles 4-6, however fell in his match in a tiebreak, 10-7, in lieu of a third set.
• Zeng Zhu battled in the fourth flight, taking three games in each set from DeFaber-Schumacher.
