HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • The Knights owned the first half, outscoring the Saints, 7-3. Arcadia started the frame on a 3-0 run, seeing back-to-back unassisted scores from sophomore Jess Kaye and senior Nicole Hutson. Hutson responded a few minutes later on a dish from sophomore Shannon Ryan to score her second straight. The teams traded the next six goals, with the Knights seeing scores from senior Allegra Benites on an assist from Ryan, and then Benites and Ryan each scoring unassisted. Ryan struck again to end the half with Arcadia on top, 7-3.

The run started with a goal from sophomore Victoria Mollitor with an assist from Ryan. Sophomore Julia Imbert scored the following goal on a free position attempt for her sixth score on the year. About 90 seconds later, Benites took a feed from senior Marie Brockman, which found the back of the net. The next two scores came with a player advantage, seeing freshman Michaela Ferlow burry both with the second goal assisted by Ryan. Huston found the net again for her third of the day, this time on an assist from Ryan. Benites finished the scoring onslaught after taking a feed from Hutson.
