GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia men's swimming team set two pool records on senior night, en route to a 126-37 win over Immaculata on Friday evening.
The Knights picked up 17 medals, with 10 first-place finishes, five second-place finishes and two third-place finishes.
Michael Melissen set a new pool record in the 1,650 free, finishing in 17.13.18.
Justin Alloway, who finished in second with a time of 18.47.76 and Zachary Holmes (18.50.84) also bested the previous 1,650 free record of 19:16.00, which stood since 2013.
Mark Preedy also broke a pool record in the 100 yard breast. Preedy finished with a time of 1:00.59, surpassing the previous mark of 1:01.24.
TJ Dalton and
Zach Bondurant each finished in first place twice. Dalton won the 500 yard freestyle (5:00.62) and 400 yard IM (4:19.38). Bondurant was first in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.19, and the 100 yard backstroke, touching the wall in 59.86.
Tristan Highet was first for the Knights in 200 yard free, touching the wall in 1:51.81.
Andrew Givone won the 100 fly for AU with a time of 54.72.
Bill Rodgers was first in the 100 yard freestyle for Arcadia, Rogers finished the event with a time of 59.97.
Austin Lauer finished second in two events. He was second in the 50 free with a time of 25:05, which is a personal best time, and the 100 yard butterfly, touching the wall in 58.32.
Colin Naturale also posted a second-place finish, in the 100 yard breast with a time of 1:07.27.
Brian Lockhart and
John Cashin each had one third-place finish. Lockhart was third in the 100 yard butterfly, with a season best time of 1:01.70. Cashin was third in the 200 yard freestyle, touching the wall in 2:04.93.
Arcadia is back in action tomorrow at Stevenson beginning at 2 p.m.
