Turnovers made the biggest difference for the Knights, who lost the first quarter turnover battle 12-4. Arcadia opened the quarter with a strong start and stellar defensive effort, but began to fall behind as their turnovers accumulated.

- The Knights began to turn things around with a 7-0 run to open the second stanza. However, the Bulldogs would gain separation with a couple three pointers to build their lead to eight points. DeSales ended the quarter on an 8-0 run to head into halftime with a 37-22 advantage.

- Arcadia played its best basketball in the early stages of the third quarter. The Knights tallied the first five points of the half with a Dunn layup and a three ball from Makowski. After DeSales answered with its first bucket of the half, Makowski continued to add pressure with her second three-pointer to pull within single digits, 39-30. However, DeSales would pick up pace and build their lead back to 16 points to end the third stanza.
