DALLAS, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's swimming team fell to Misericordia in Saturday's Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) dual meet, 161-101.
Risa Krauss had a pair of event wins on the afternoon, coming in the 50-yd and 200-yd breaststroke.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-In a highly anticipated 200-yd medley relay, the foursome
Grace Brooks,
Risa Krauss,
Emily Raedisch, and
Julia Stephens swam hard but fell just short in second place by a half second with a time of 1:54.50.
-The Knights regained momentum in the very next event - the 1000-yd freestyle - in what proved to be an exciting back-and-forth battle. In the end,
Natalie Link prevailed with a winning time of 11:43.70.
-The next event win came in the 50-yd breaststroke where Krauss touched first with a quick time of 32.36. Krauss would also go on to win the 200-yd breaststroke with a 2:32.85.
-Brooks dug deep after a tough couple events and came out victorious in the 200-yd backstroke with a time of 2:17.33.
