IMMACULATA, Pa. - A 45-point outburst in the second half turned a six-point halftime deficit into a 75-63 win for the Arcadia University men's basketball team as it defeated Immaculata University in non-conference play on Sunday afternoon.
Justin Money led all scorers with a game-high 22 points, followed by
Dom Vazquez and
Jalen Watkins with 19 each.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights began the game on a 5-0 run courtesy of a Watkins layup and a three-pointer from
Chris Williams.
- Immaculata used a 9-1 run to jump in front 9-6 with 12:01 on the clock.
- The Mighty Macs reached their biggest lead of the half at 11, holding a 28-17 advantage with 5:22 before Arcadia finished the half on a 13-8 run to cut the deficit to 36-30 entering the break.
- The Knights opened the second half with three-pointers from Vazquez,
Cole Walker, and two from Money, keying a 16-2 run helping Arcadia gain a 46-38 lead four-and-a-half minutes into the period.
- Immaculata trimmed the advantage to 52-50 with just over ten minutes left, but the Knights ended the game outscoring their opponent 23-13 the remainder of the way to secure the victory.

- After shooting 28 percent (11-27) from the floor in the first half, Arcadia shot 58 percent (15-26) in the second.
- Likewise, after shooting 18 percent (2-11) from deep in the opener, the Knights hit their threes at 56 percent (5-9) in the final half.
