PITTSTON, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team picked up a 5-0 shutout victory over King's on Friday afternoon.
Ariel Williamson and
Maeve Hourihan each recorded a multi-point game. Williamson scored a goal and added an assist. Hourihan scored the first two goals of her career in the win.
Morganne Dee and
Brooklyn Hendrickson also found the back of the net in the Knights' victory.
The Knights were perfect on the power play as they converted on all three of their opportunities.
Hannah Bergeron got the start in goal and made ten saves in the shutout. It is Bergeron's fourth career shutout and second of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hendrickson opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the first period. Williamson also tallied an unassisted goal before the end of the opening frame to give Arcadia a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period.
- Dee scored a power play goal in the second period to extend the Knights lead. Williamson and Bridgit Terry added the assists.
- Hourihan scored her first career goal with a power play goal in the third period. Berklee Hibbard had the helper on the score. The first-year forward added another power play goal with less than a minute to play in the final frame to give the Knights a 5-0 lead. Campbell Torrey and Leah Hatcher had the assists on the goal.
