COLMAR, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's ice hockey opened its season with a bang as it topped Albertus Magnus by a final score of 6-4.
Ariel Williamson led the Knights with three points on two goals and one assist. Three other Knights had a multi-point game as
Haylee Kos and
Phoebe Roberts each had a goal and an assist and
Maeve Hourihan matched her career high with three assists.
Jo Coates made 12 saves in net for the Knights for their first victory of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game as Roberts scored her second goal of the season. Williamson got her first point of the day with the assist on the goal.
- Albertus Magnus tied the game at one, three minutes later, and that score would stand heading into the first intermission.
- Arcadia scored the next three goals, all of which came on second period power plays. Haylee Kos, Kianna Saillant and Williamson all found the back of the net. Saillant's goal was the first of her career. The Knights held a 4-1 lead going into the final period.
- Albertus Magnus got within a goal at 4-3 as it scored the first two goals of the third period, but Williamson and Campbell Torrey scored the next two goals to give Arcadia a 6-3 lead.
- The Falcons scored once more, but the Knights closed out the final minute and a half after the score to seal their 6-4 victory.
