GALLOWAY, N.J. – The Arcadia University baseball team used a three-inning outburst to down Stockton, 9-0, on Tuesday evening.
The Knights improved their record to 10-6 with the victory.
All of the Arcadia runs came between the fifth and seventh innings. The Knights offense was led by the top of the order in
Alex Madera and
Emilio Pallante. The Knights' one and two hitters both had four hits. Madera drove four runs home and Pallante had two RBI's.
Carson Denham got the start for Arcadia and pitched three scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and striking out three.
Mitch Whitney picked up the win in the game.

Hunter Sibley also had scoreless outings for Arcadia.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The opening four innings were scoreless, but Arcadia broke the tie through a Pallante RBI double.
- Madera opened the scoring in the sixth inning as he had a bases clearing double, extending Arcadia's lead to 4-0. Pallante picked up an RBI for the second consecutive inning with a run scoring single.
- Hunter Curley gave the Knights a 6-0 lead with an RBI single, and later came around to score on a wild pitch. Matt Donchez and Madera both had RBI singles to close out the scoring in the Knights' 9-0 win.
