GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team topped Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) foe, Lycoming, 14-9, on Saturday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field.
 
Morganne Dee set a new career high in goals with seven, surpassing her previous career high of six. Ashley Starkey chipped in with three to help the Knights in their win.
 
Emily Griffith made 12 saves in the win, including stopping 10-of-11 Lycoming free position opportunities.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights scored the first seven goals of the game, five of which came in the first quarter. Dee had a hat trick through the opening 16 minutes of the game.
• Arcadia continued its strong play through the rest of the first half as it led, 9-4, through 30 minutes of play.
• Dee scored two of the three Arcadia goals in the third quarter as the Knights held a 12-4 advantage through three quarters of play.
• Lycoming outscored the Knights, 5-2, in the final 15 minutes of play, but it was not enough as Arcadia closed out the win.
