ANNVILLE, Pa. - With 21 seconds left in regulation and facing a three-point deficit,
Nas Johnson sunk three free throws, sending to game to overtime, where the Arcadia University men's basketball team defeated Lebanon Valley College 64-57 in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia improved to 11-6 overall and 3-2 in MAC Freedom play.
-Lebanon Valley fell to 4-13 and 2-4, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Leading 9-8 nine minutes into the game, the Knights used an 8-1 run to go up 17-9.
-Arcadia held that advantage the remainder of the half, taking a 27-19 lead into the break.
-The Dutchmen outscored the Knights 30-22 in the second half, but Johnson's free throws lifted Arcadia to overtime tied at 49.
-The Knights began the extra frame on a 14-6 run to secure the victory.
