GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team dropped non-conference match-up against Hood College 11-9 on Saturday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blazers started the first quarter with six unanswered goals, before
Sarah Morris put Arcadia on the board with 1:48 left in the quarter.
- Hood opened the second quarter with two more goals, which were answered by
Mackenzie Clark and
Olivia Poley, making the score 8-3.
- Mackenzie Demaio scored one more goal for the Blazers to end the half 9-3.

Morganne Dee and
Sarah Morris scored the only two goals in the third quarter to make it a four-goal game going into the final 15 minutes.
- Poley scored the first goal in the fourth with 13:25 left to play.
- Hood's Jaylen Brooks scored the 10
th goal for hood before a goal from Clark and two from
Juliane Calalo cut their lead to 10-9.
- With :46 left in the game, the Blazers push their lead to two goals to end the match-up with a score of 11-9.

Emily Griffith moved to 3-4 with 14 saves on the day.
