YORK, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swim team currently sits in fourth overall after the first day of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship Meet.
DAY ONE RESULTS
The Knights recorded six lifetime best times and three season best times on the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED

George Wade earned sixth place in the 200-yd individual medley with a personal best time of 1:56.56. He dropped .57 seconds from the 2024 MAC Championship meet.

Matthew Drake finished seventh overall in the 50-yd freestyle with a career best time of 21.90.

Adam Smith made the podium in the 500-yd freestyle event with a season best time of 4:56.69, shedding 27.6 seconds from his previous best time this season.

Braeden Wolf won the 500-yd freestyle B-final with a lifetime best time of 4:50.10, which was faster than the bottom half of the A-final. He dropped 5.68 seconds from his previous career best from last season's MACs.

Tyler Mui earned a lifetime best time in the 200-yd individual medley by .36 seconds (2:00.65).

Owen Foley swam a season best 500-yd freestyle time of 5:07.48 at prelims.

Thomas Tubinas was .12 short of his lifetime best 500 free time as he recorded a season best 5:05.22 in finals, which was 15.34 seconds faster than his prelims time earlier in the day.

Zachary Horner recorded a career best time of 5:22.53 in the 500 free, dropping 15.83 seconds.

Mikalai Yakhimchyk earned himself a personal best time of 2:07.50 (prelims) in the 200-yd individual medley. He then went a 2:07.97 in finals.
- The 200-yd medley relay made up of Drake, Mui, Foley and Wade finished fourth overall with a time of 1:36.20.
