YORK, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swim team finished fifth overall at the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship Meet.

The Knights recorded seven lifetime best times and four season best times on the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED

George Wade finished fourth in the 200-yd breaststroke with his fastest time of the season (2:07.71).

Braeden Wolf finished fifth overall in the 1650-yd (mile) freestyle with a lifetime best time of 16:56.84. He dropped 11.95 seconds from his previous best time from the 2024 MAC Championships.

George Mitev (17:19.40) and
Zachary Horner (19:12.52) swam personal best times in the mile. Mitev dropped 4.97 from his previous best time, and Horner cut 27.48.

Tyler Mui won the B-final for the 200-yd breaststroke with a season best time of 2:13.52.

Thomas Tubinas dropped .61 for a career best 100-yd freestyle time of 50.95.

Adam Smith earned a season best 1650-yd freestyle time of 17:28.37. This swim was 1:15.43 faster than his time from the Cougar Splash Invitational earlier in the season. He also swam a season best time of 2:05.67 in the 200-yd backstroke.

Matthew Drake won the B-final of the 200-yd backstroke with a personal best time of 1:57.20. He cut 2.14 seconds from last year's Championship meet.

Michael Sanchez recorded a lifetime best 200-yd backstroke time of 2:10.24.

Mikalai Yakhimchyk swam the 200-yd breaststroke in a personal record time of 2:23.38, dropping 9.52 seconds.
- The 400-yd freestyle relay of Drake, Mui, Wolf, and Wade finished fifth with a time of 3:15.65.
