Baseball Set for NCAA Division III Regional

CLEVELAND, Oh. - For the fourth year in a row, the Arcadia University baseball team will appear in the NCAA Division III Regionals in 2025. This season, the Knights were placed in the Cleveland Regional hosted by Case Western Reserve University from May 16-18. Arcadia will face Centre College at 1:30 p.m., following the opening game between host CWRU and North Central at 10:00 a.m.

The loser of each first round game will face off Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the first elimination game. The two winners will face off following at 12:00 p.m., followed by the winner of game three and loser of game four matching up in the second elimination game at 3:30 p.m. The winners of games four and five will move on to Sunday, with the winner of game four needing only one win to advance to the Super Regional. If the undefeated team drops that game, the two teams will face off in a winner-takes-all game seven 45 minutes after the conclusion.

Tickets are available on-site and are card only, no cash will be accepted. Tickets are good for all games on a particular day, with prices set by the NCAA. Gates will open one hour before first pitch of the first game of the day.

Arcadia is making its fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Regionals and sixth since 2017 after sweeping through the 2025 MAC Freedom Tournament. The Knights are led by First Team All-MAC Freedom selections Anthony Bruno, who is batting .370 with 20 doubles, five home runs, 33 rbi's, and 39 runs scored. Joining Bruno on the First Team is Kevin Wheeler, batting .336 with five doubles, one home run, 32 rbi's, and 34 runs scored. 

On the mound, the Knights are led by First Team selection Cam Nebel, who went 4-1 with one save in 13 appearances out of the bullpen, striking out 38 batters in 42 innings. Arcadia will look to advance to its first-ever Super Regional in 2025.

Case Western Reserve is making its third-straight appearance in the NCAA Regional this season. The Spartans are led by senior Nick Harms, who is batting .395 with 14 doubles, five triples, 12 home runs, 51 rbi's, and 53 runs scored. On the mound, sophomore Quinn Saunders made 10 starts, going 3-1 with a 3.32 era and 47 strikeouts in 38 innings.

Centre College is making its third-straight appearance in the NCAA Regional this season. The Colonels are led at the plate abd on the mound by junior Ben Prather, who is currently batting .380 with 12 doubles, one triple, four home runs, 35 rbi's, and 41 runs scored, in addition to a 7-0 record with a 2.34 era and 55 strikeouts in 61.2 innings.

North Central is making its first appearance in the NCAA Regionals since 2022 this season. The Cardinals are led at the plate by sophomore Jackson Bland and Caleb Coberley, who sport matching .322 batting averages. On the mound, sophomore Brian Duvall is 4-1 with a 4.75 era, striking out 32 batters in 53 innings this season.
