MENDHAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Arcadia University men's golf team returned to competition at the Fairleigh Dickinson Fall Invitational, hosted by FDU–Florham at Mendham Golf and Tennis Club. The par-72, 6,428-yard course tested the 11-team field, where the Knights placed fourth overall with a team score of 329 (+41). Sophomore Matteo Patitucci once again paced Arcadia, firing a 75 (+3) to finish in a tie for third place.

Patitucci opened with a 40 (+4) on the front nine, starting with four straight pars and adding two more along the way. He rebounded strongly on the back nine, carding a 35 (-1) with three birdies. After starting two under through his first five holes on the back, Patitucci added his third birdie on the par-5 17th hole, narrowly missing an eagle putt before tapping in for birdie.

Nicky Antonelli was the Knights' second finisher, shooting 82 (+10) to tie for 18th place. Antonelli carded a 43 (+7) on the front before steadying his play with a 39 (+3) on the back, highlighted by 11 pars in total.

Rounding out the Knights' scoring four was Hayden Williamson, who tied for 39th after carding an 89 (+17). Williamson started his round with a birdie on the opening hole and added two more pars for a 42 (+6) on the front. On the back nine, he notched two additional birdies and a par to finish with a 47 (+11).

Tony Antonelli's 94 (+22) did not factor into the team score, though he recorded a birdie on the par-5 third hole, finishing 45 (+9) on the front and 49 (+13) on the back.

Two Knights also competed individually. Justin Madden shot 94 (+22) after a 50 (+14) front nine that included three pars, before improving with a 44 (+8) and three more pars on the back. Chad Jones carded a 96 (+24) with consistent 48s on each side, highlighted by four pars.
