Jen Fry’s “The N-Word Workshop”
“The N-Word Workshop” is a workshop designed to help participants grow in their understanding of the “N-Word” and its history and gain confidence in their ability to address topics regarding the “N-Word.” It empowers them to be proactive leaders in recognizing how words can impact others, including how they can be harmful and violent.
Our department has access to this workshop, which was designed by Jen Fry, a sports geographer, social justice activist, and former women’s volleyball coach. For more information,

NCAA DiSC Behavioral Assessment
The DiSC Assessment is a behavioral assessment tool that is used to improve understanding of one’s own behavioral tendencies and preferences in relation to those around them. Through an NCAA partnership, NCAA schools can access an allocated number of assessments annually for use with teams and staff. For more information,
