Box Score GLENSIDE, PA (October 17, 2012) - The Arcadia University Women's Volleyball team took Commonwealth opponent Alvernia University the distance this evening before dropping to the visiting Crusaders in the 5th set, 8-15.

The Knights took control in set one winning 25-17.  The Crusaders would rally to win set two and three 25-22, 25-18.  Arcadia would not back down and charged back to win an exciting fourth set 25-20 to force set five where Alvernia would be victorious. 

The Knights were lead by senior Carlee Rossiter with an impressive game-high 40 assist along with 12 digs and 2 kills.  Junior Taylor Hoover contributed a team-high 11 kills and 5 digs and Senior Delaney Dobson recorded 9 kills and a team-high 5 blocks.

The Knights will travel to Misercordia University this Saturday to take on the University of Scranton at Noon and Misericordia at 2 PM.
