Arcadia University Athletic Hall of Fame
O'Malley, known as Katie during her playing days, was a four-year letter winner on the women's soccer team and spent one season on the women's lacrosse team. During her time on the pitch, O'Malley was recognized by many as a fierce competitor, earning First Team All-Conference honors in 2007, 2009, and 2010, and adding Second Team All-Conference laurels in 2008.

Not only did O'Malley receive recognition in the conference, but also in the region, being named to the NSCAA All-Region First Team in 2010, and Second Team in 2009. Serving as a two-year captain in her junior and senior seasons, O'Malley was named Most Valuable Female Senior at Arcadia at the 2011 banquet.

Over her career, she registered 55 points on 20 goals and 15 assists in her 79 games played. Overall, she ranks fifth in game-winning goals with eight and is tied for tenth in assists.

O'Malley graduated from Arcadia with a bachelor's degree in International Business and Culture in May 2011. She continues to play competitive soccer in an adult league four times per week and played in a Pro-Am Beach Soccer Tournament in the summer of 2018.
